Extensive 'Day' reshoots announced

A series of extensive reshoots of sci-fi remake The Day The Earth Stood Still have been announced by Fox.

The movie is a revision of the 1951 epic and stars Keanu Reeves as visiting spaceman Klaatu, with Jennifer Connelly as war widow Helen Benson.

IESB states that the reshoots will last more than a week and both actors will be on set.

The Day The Earth Stood Still is scheduled for release in the US on December 12.
