In an interview with Elle, Lohan claimed that she is "obsessed" with the idea of starring in one of the legendary filmmaker's movies.
She said: "I'm obsessed with working with Martin Scorsese. I still haven't worked with some directors I want to work with.
"I still have somewhere to go, which I think is a good thing, because if I'd done it all by now, I'd have nothing else to explore."
Scorsese's films include Taxi Driver, Raging Bull, Goodfellas, Gangs Of New York and The Departed.
