Duchovny, Moore cast as 'The Joneses'

David Duchovny, Demi Moore and Amber Heard will star in comedy-drama The Joneses for Derrick Borte, says The Hollywood Reporter.

Described as a social satire, the film revolves around a perfect family who immediately gain popularity when they move to suburbia. However, their neighbours are unaware that the family has been assembled and placed by a marketing company to introduce luxury products to potential customers.

Duchovny and Moore will star as the fake husband and wife. Heard will take the role of their daughter, who attempts to seduce her fake father.

Gary Cole has also been cast in the movie.

The Joneses marks Borte's first film as a writer and director.
