Cloverfield director Matt Reeves will write and direct vampire film Let The Right One In, says Variety.
The movie is a remake of Tomas Alfredson's Swedish horror Lat Den Ratte Komma In, which was adapted from a novel by John Ajvide Lindqvist.
The story follows a bullied 12-year-old boy as he befriends his beautiful female neighbour who turns out to be a vampire.
Reeves is currently preparing to helm The Invisible Woman, about a housewife who turns to a life of crime to save her family. He is also developing a sequel to Cloverfield.
