Jack Black has signed up to work alongside Kung Fu Panda's writers on a live action comedy.

Jonathan Aibel and Glen Berger's latest project is described as a comedic Bourne Identity.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Black's character is an American that finds himself on the shores of Cuba without any idea how he got there or who he is. He concludes that he must be a super-spy.

"For our next live-action project, we knew we wanted to work with either a panda or Jack. Luckily, [our agents] Endeavor also repped Jack," said Aibel.

"We also figured that if we could write for Jack as a panda, we could write for him as a human."

Aibel and Berger's credits include King Of The Hill and upcoming Dreamworks production Monsters vs Aliens.
