Hilary Swank to star in 'Betty Anne'

The movie revolves around a single mother who puts herself through law school in order to prove that her brother was wrongfully convicted of murder.
Goldwyn, who has been attached to the project for seven years, will direct the film in Michigan next year from a script by Pamela Gray. Andrew Sugerman and Andrew S. Karsch will produce Betty Anne, with Swank serving as executive producer.
"There is a spirit and indomitability that Hilary brings that is a strong match for this character’s fierce commitment," Goldwyn told Variety.
