'ROTK' is best motion picture at Golden Globes

The third instalment of The Lord of the Rings, Return of the King scooped a number of awards at the Golden Globes on Sunday night.
The movie won the award for Best Motion Picture in the drama category. Peter Jackson was named Best Director. Into The West, from the movie's soundtrack, was the Best Original Song. Also, Howard Shore's score was Best Original Score.
In other film news from the ceremony: Lost In Translation came tops in the musical/comedy movie category; Charlize Theron won the award for best performance by an actress in a dramatic film for her role in Monster; Sean Penn got the award for best performance by an actor in that category for his role in Mystic River; Osama was named best foreign language film; the best screenplay award went to Sofia Coppola (Lost In Translation); Bill Murray picked up the award for best performance by an actor in the musical/comedy movie category; and Diane Keaton won the actress award in that category for her role in Something's Gotta Give.
