Columbus Short has confirmed rumours that he is in talks to star in Lethal Weapon 5.
The Stomp The Yard actor told IGN that Warner Bros producer Joel Silver approached him about playing the son of Danny Glover's character Roger Murtaugh.
Short said: "We've been talking about it. Joel Silver talked to me about it and I said, 'Yeah, I'll do Lethal Weapon with Danny and Mel.'"
Shane Black, who wrote the original movie, has penned the fifth instalment of the action franchise.
Short added: "Hopefully they get it together, if not it's still cool. They're trying to do it right now, trying to fast track it."
