Fans want BAFTA for 'Tarzan' chimp
Protestors have appealed to the British film industry to honour the chimp which appeared in the old Tarzan films.

Cheeta the Chimp has worked alongside stars such as Marlene Dietrich, Humphrey Bogart, and Greta Garbo.

Campaigners claim the Hollywood ape deserves recognition and have been protesting outside the BAFTA HQ in London.

A BAFTA spokesperson told ITN that although Cheeta is clearly "much-loved", the organisation does not honour animals.
