Three sign for 'Couples Retreat'

Kristen Bell, Kristin Davis and Malin Akerman have joined the cast of Universal's Couples Retreat.

The story revolves around four couples who take part in therapy sessions at a tropical island resort. Vince Vaughn, Jon Favreau, Jason Bateman and Faizon Love were confirmed for the movie last month.

Bell will play Bateman's wife, Davis has been cast as Favreau's spouse and Akerman will star as Vaughn's other half.

Peter Billinsgsley will direct from a script by Favreau. Vaughn, who conceived the idea for the film, will serve as producer with Scott Stuber.
