Warner Bros has picked up the film option to Alexis Nolent's three-part graphic novel series Headshot, reports Variety.
The novel, originally published in France by Casterman, centres on a cop and a hitman who plot revenge on the enemy responsible for the death of their partners.
Alessandro Camon has been contracted to write the script. Smallville creators Alfred Gough and Miles Millar will act as producers alongside Alexandra Milchan.
Milchan has also set up movie deals for Nolent's other works The Killer (for David Fincher at Paramount) and Cyclops (at Warner Bros for 3:10 To Yuma director James Mangold).
