Pitt eyes Frankel's 'Moneyball'

Brad Pitt is circling Columbia's adaptation of Michael Lewis's non-fiction book Moneyball: The Art Of Winning An Unfair Game, reports Variety.

The story revolves around baseball coach Billy Beane, who employed a computer analysis system to draft players and assemble a successful team.

The Devil Wears Prada director David Frankel is attached to helm the movie, with Steve Zallian adapting the book into a
screenplay.

Michael De Luca and Rachael Horovitz will serve as producers on the Columbia Pictures project.
