Rourke, Statham join Babluani's '13'

Mickey Rourke, Jason Statham and 50 Cent have been cast in Gela Babluani's 13.

The film is Babluani's remake of his own French-language film 13 Tzameti. The story centres on a man who steals a package that promises to make him rich, Variety reports.

Control star Sam Riley is already among the cast of the Paramount Vantage remake, which will start shooting next month in New York.

13 Tzameti won the Grand Jury Prize at the 2006 Sundance Film Festival.
