Mortier to adapt Palahniuk's 'Haunted'

The book focuses on several characters who answer an advert for a writer's retreat and find themselves thrust into a reality TV scenario where heat, power and food are being withheld from the abandoned theatre where they are staying.
Mortier made his directorial debut last year with the Belgian black comedy Ex Drummer.
Palahniuk's novels Fight Club and Choke have been turned into movies, with I Am Legend's Francis Lawrence attached to helm an film adaptation of Survivors.
