'Lost' star signs to drama 'Case 219'

Former Lost actor Harold Perrineau will executive produce and star in a film on the aftermath of a high school shooting, says The Hollywood Reporter.

Case 219 is based on the novel Shooter by Walter Myers, and follows three misfit teens as they deal with the traumatic situation.

Evan Ross, Leven Rambin and Taylor Nichols have already signed to the film, while Leslie Hope is also in talks.

Perrineau has apparently finished filming hostage thriller Killing Jar, with previous film credits including Romeo + Juliet, The Matrix and 28 Weeks Later.
