Singleton departs 'A-Team' movie
Published Friday, Oct 24 2008, 18:34 BST | By Simon Reynolds

Singleton was confirmed for the movie in March, but has now quit the project after becoming frustrated with the number of script rewrites the studio demanded, reports Variety.
Writers Michael Brandt and Derek Haas have been working on the movie adaptation of the popular 1980s TV show.
As a result of Singleton's departure, The A-Team's release date has been shifted from June 12, 2009 to June 11, 2010.
The film will reportedly bring the characters into the present by establishing them as veterans of the Gulf War instead of Vietnam.
