Nesbitt speaks out on silent role

Rex Features

British actor James Nesbitt has revealed the difficulty of acting with little dialogue.

The star, who plays a city trader who loses his voice in new movie Blessed, said that he did not realise how hard the role would be.

"In the film, the character loses his voice and becomes very isolated. So the lack of dialogue was a challenge," he said.

"It is only when you get a part like that, you realise how difficult silence is."
