McDermott, Doherty join 'Burning Palms'

The movie is comprised of five interlocking stories that deal with taboos and poke fun at life in the California areas of West Hollywood, Santa Monica, Sherman Oaks, Westwood and Holmby Hills.
Landon's ensemble cast also includes Lake Bell, Nick Stahl, Paz Vega, Emily Meade, Anson Mount and Rosamund Pike, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Producer Oren Segal described the film as "a John Waters version of Short Cuts".
