Rogen blasts 'Porno' movie ban

Rex Features

Seth Rogen has spoken out against a ban on his new movie in Utah.

Bosses at Megaplex Theatres in Salt Lake City, Lehi, Ogden and Sandy have refused to show Zack And Miri Make A Porno, saying they think it is too crude for viewers.

Rogen called the ban "hypocritical", pointing out that the cinemas do not have a problem with horror movie Saw V.

"Some people have an issue with porno - just with the word 'porno' - which I think is crazy. Everyone has sex. Everyone likes having sex," he said.

"People have been banning our posters and the Saw V poster they're fine with - literally a guy with a dead person's face cut off and strapped to his face, and no-one has a problem with him."
