Theron in talks for Cruise's 'Tourist'

Charlize Theron is in talks to star opposite Tom Cruise in Warner Bros spy thriller The Tourist.

According to Variety, Theron will play a female Interpol agent who uses an American tourist (Cruise) as a pawn to expose an elusive criminal. The film is a remake of French thriller Anthony Zimmer.

Bharat Nalluri, the Britsh filmmaker who has worked on Life On Mars, Spooks and the recent Miss Pettigrew Lives For A Day, will direct the movie next March.

The script, originally by Julian Fellowes, is currently being revised by Christopher McQuarrie (The Usual Suspects).
