'Office' star Fischer to lead 'Help' cast

Jenna Fischer has secured the lead role in Michael J. Weithron's independent dramedy A Little Help, says Variety.

The actress, who stars as receptionist Pam Beesley in the American version of The Office, will play a widowed single mother who rekindles her romance with an old flame - her sister's husband.

A Little Help is the first feature film from writer/director Weithorn, creator of long-running TV comedy King Of Queens.

Fischer previously starred in Blades Of Glory and was recently cast in Michael Douglas comedy Solitary Man.
