'Mamma Mia!' sequel 'not in discussion'
Former Abba star Benny Andersson has revealed that there are no plans for a sequel to musical Mamma Mia!.

He told the BBC that there has been "no discussion" about a follow-up to the hit movie, saying: "There is no talk of a sequel."

Andersson said that Universal Studios would be interested in producing a follow-up to the film because they are "just flabbergasted" at the success of the first movie.

He added that he would be open to any ideas screenwriter Catherine Johnson comes up with, saying: "If she comes up with something, if she's keen on it, then maybe she'll call us."

Mamma Mia! recently became the highest-grossing British film ever at the domestic box office.
