YouTube to stream complete MGM films
Published Monday, Nov 10 2008, 16:18 GMT | By Simon Reynolds

According to Variety, the Google-owned video sharing site will begin showing the movies Bulletproof Monk and The Magnificent Seven, along with clips from Legally Blonde.
On another channel, the complete series of American Gladiators will be broadcast on the site. The joint venture will generate revenue by running adverts alongside the streaming video.
The James Bond movies are not included in the agreement.
Studios Warner Bros and Sony are reportedly eager to make a similar deal with YouTube as they are not affiliated with Hulu.com, the video site that shows full-length content from News Corporation and NBC Universal.
