Affleck, Alba join 'Killer Inside Me'

Casey Affleck and Jessica Alba have joined the cast of Michael Winterbottom's thriller The Killer Inside Me, says The Hollywood Reporter.

An adaptation of Jim Thompson's novel, the story centres on Texan lawman Lou Ford as he transforms from a dull police officer into a ruthless killer.

Affleck will play Ford and Alba a prostitute.

Thompson's novel was previously turned into a 1976 movie starring Stacy Keach.

Winterbottom's directing credits include Angelina Jolie's A Mighty Heart, comedy A Cock And Bull Story and Tony Wilson biopic 24 Hour Party People.
