Richard Gere's Nights In Rodanthe has entered at number one at the Australian box office.

The romantic tale topples Coen brothers comedy Burn After Reading, which slips to second on its fourth week in the chart.

Elsewhere, Kiefer Sutherland's thriller Mirrors enters at six, while Don Cheadle's FBI drama Traitor debuts at five.
