Moore to take on economic crisis?

Michael Moore's next movie will tackle the US economy and the global financial crisis, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Sources involved with the Fahrenheit 9/11 follow-up have claimed that it will have an "end of the empire" tone.

When the sequel was announced, executives stressed its focus on foreign policy. However, Moore's emphasis has reportedly shifted and the untitled film is now said to concentrate on economics.

Makers Overture and Paramount Vantage declined to comment on the film, which is expected to open as early as next spring.
