Watanabe is new 'Batman' villain

Ken Watanabe will play the main villain in the new Batman movie, according to The Hollywood Reporter today.
The Japanese actor - most recently seen alongside Tom Cruise in The Last Samurai - is the final cast member of Batman: Insurrection, which begins filming in London next month.
Watanabe will play Ra's Al Ghul, an immortal strategic mastermind who's bent on bringing his own kind of order to the world.
Brit actor Christian Bale will be starring in the lead role. Other cast members include Michael Caine (Alfred the butler), Katie Holmes (Bruce Wayne's childhood friend and love interest), Liam Nesson (Wayne's mentor Henri Ducard) and Morgan Freeman (Lucius Fox, a former board member and sidelined employee of Wayne Enterprises).
