Farmiga 'Up In The Air' with Clooney

Vera Farmiga has been added to the cast of Jason Reitman's corporate satire Up In The Air.

The Departed actress will join George Clooney and newcomer Anna Kendrick in the Paramount movie, which concerns a businessman intent on racking up one million frequent flier miles.

Farmiga will play a woman who becomes romantically involved with Clooney's character Ryan Bingham after meeting him at airports and hotels across the globe, reports Variety.

Reitman penned the Up In The Air screenplay - based on Walter Kirn's novel - and will direct the film next February.
