Tucker to oversee Adams's 'Leap Year'

Anand Tucker is in talks to direct the Amy Adams romantic comedy Leap Year, says The Hollywood Reporter.

The story revolves around a woman (Adams) who journeys across Ireland to propose to her boyfriend on February 29 of a leap year, a day when women traditionally ask men to marry them.

Made Of Honour duo Harry Elfont and Deb Kaplan have written the screenplay, which will go into production next March.

Bangkok-born filmmaker Tucker previously directed And When Did You Last See Your Father?, Shopgirl and Hilary And Jackie.
