Macdonald, 32, rose to fame following her appearance in Trainspotting, during which she stripped off for her on-screen romance with Ewan McGregor.
The Scottish actress has since received critical acclaim for a number of performances, including last year's No Country For Old Men.
She told The Mirror that future nudity is off the cards, saying: "You can absolutely forget it. I find just being on set embarrassing. And that's with all my clothes on."
In her latest film Choke, Madonald stars opposite Sam Rockwell, who plays a sex addict attempting to overcome his addiction.
