Kim Cattrall has admitted that she wants to sit in on Sex And The City 2 casting sessions so that she can meet young men.

The actress, who plays Samantha Jones in the TV series-turned-movie franchise, is quoted by the Daily Express as saying: "I am very much looking forward to the casting of lots of young, attractive men for Samantha.

"Sometimes, through the course of the series, I would ask if I could come in and at least meet them and I hope I do as well with this."

Cattrall said that if she cannot make the auditions, she will leave the job up to Sex And The City writer/director Michael Patrick King.

"I trust Michael Patrick King. He has wonderful taste and hasn't put a foot wrong yet!" she said.

Sarah Jessica Parker earlier claimed that a sequel may film next summer for a 2010 release, though she ruled out a motherhood storyline for her character Carrie Bradshaw.
