Depp acquires rights to 'Hand Of Dante'

According to Variety, the actor is also considering starring in the project.
In The Hand Of Dante, which was published in 2002, is based around Dante Aligheri's 14th century epic The Divine Comedy.
Depp is currently working on The Lone Ranger, Tim Burton's Alice In Wonderland and his second Hunter S. Thompson project The Rum Diary.
