Wiseman attached to 'Atlantis Rising'

Len Wiseman has signed up to direct comic book adaptation Atlantis Rising for DreamWorks, reports Variety.

Scott Mitchell Rosenberg's comic storyline focuses on seismic shifts at sea level that prompt military forces to venture to the unexplored depths of the ocean. There they find an underground civilisation, kick-starting a war on Earth.

Transformers writers Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci are producing the adaptation.

Wiseman, the director of Underworld and Die Hard 4.0, will helm Atlantis after completing work on thriller Motorcade.
