Published Friday, Dec 5 2008, 18:22 GMT | By Simon Reynolds
Al Gough and Miles Millar will make their feature directorial debut with Salisbury.
The pair, who oversaw Smallville for seven seasons, originated the project as a spec script and sold it to Disney. They recently produced Hannah Montana: The Movie for the studio.
The storyline is being closely guarded, but will feature a youthful cast and elements of the supernatural. The title Salisbury refers to the fictional town where the events of the movie unfold.
Gough and Millar's big screen writing credits include The Mummy: Tomb Of The Dragon Emperor, Spider-Man 2 and Shanghai Noon.
