'Return of the King' gets DVD release date
Published Monday, Mar 8 2004, 11:35 GMT | By Neil Wilkes
A release date has finally been confirmed for the theatrical version of Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King on DVD.
The two-disc set will be out on May 25 in the US, with a simultaneous release in the UK looking increasingly likely.
Extras will include behind-the-scenes specials, TV spots, a preview of the upcoming video game and a new Lord of the Rings "supertrailer".
As usual, the release of the theatrical version precedes the release of the extended version towards the end of the year.
