Weisz 'on Dark Knight sequel shortlist'

The Mummy actress is said to be in contention to play the villain opposite Christian Bale's Caped Crusader if he returns to the role.
"Producers are looking at Rachel to play Catwoman, one of Batman's arch enemies, in Batman 3," a source told The Mirror.
Catwoman, a character known for her ambiguity in Batman mythology, was portrayed by Michelle Pfeiffer in Tim Burton's 1992 film Batman Returns and Halle Berry in 2004 spinoff movie Catwoman.
Eartha Kitt, Julie Newmar and Lee Meriwether all took on the part in the 1960s Batman TV series.
