Jennifer Lopez cast in romcom 'Plan B'

Jennifer Lopez has signed to star in romantic comedy Plan B, says The Hollywood Reporter.

The story revolves around a broody single woman who uses her fall-back option, artificial insemination, to conceive twins. Later that day she meets the man of her dreams (her Plan A).

The Kate Angelo-penned script is one of the first to receive the greenlight from recently-formed CBS Films.

Producer Todd Black said: "I'm really aiming to make a movie that's relatable to men and women. They can laugh super-hard and walk away being okay with their choices."

Plan B, which is now searching for a director and leading man, will film next spring.
