'Twilight' star denies sequel snub

Reports had suggested that the actor, who played Jacob Black, had been ditched from New Moon because he lacked the physicality the character required in the script.
"I've heard a few things. I don't really know too much to comment on it," he told MTV. "As far as I know, I haven't been told 'no' yet, so it's still all up in the air."
However, Lautner admitted that he had been hitting the gym in a bid to achieve the necessary physique.
"I have been working out. I've been working out since the day we finished filming Twilight. I'm guaranteeing [the director, Chris] Weitz 10 more [pounds] by filming."
