Sonnenfeld signs to 'Saving The World'

Barry Sonnenfield has signed up for action comedy The How-To Guide For Saving The World.

The Men In Black director's latest project revolves around a man who discovers a manual that explains how the world can be protected from aliens.

The lead character, who Sonnenfeld has described as "a non-action-hero guy, not unlike me in terms of manliness, will be accompanied by a woman who hates him as he attempts to save the world".

Ben David Grabinksi is scripting, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Sonnenfeld's credits include Enchanted, The Addams Family, Wild Wild West and US TV series Pushing Daisies.
