Vanessa Hudgens auditions for 'New Moon'

The High School Musical 3 star has allegedly read for the part of werewolf Leah Clearwater in the Chris Weitz-directed film.
Ashley Greene, who appeared as Alice Cullen in the first Twilight movie, told MTV of Hudgens's potential casting: "I think she'd be great [as Leah]."
Speaking about the progress of New Moon's script, Greene added: "I hear they're doing another rewrite. I'm with you guys - I'm so excited to read it."
