Speaking to CHUD, Hader revealed that he has written a horror/comedy screenplay for the Knocked Up director, alongside SNL writer Simon Rich.
"I don't know if it's even going to get made," he said. "Judd met with us and said 'I want to do a horror movie with you. I want to see you in a slasher movie'."
Describing the script, he said: "It's partially Straw Dogs meets Halloween meets Home Alone meets Monster Squad."
Hader and Apatow have collaborated on several projects, including Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Pineapple Express.
