'Love Guru', Hilton lead Razzie nods

Mike Myers's The Love Guru and Paris Hilton have received the most nominations at this year's Golden Raspberry Awards.

The widely-panned Love Guru was handed seven nods ahead of the ceremony, which recognises the worst films of the previous year.

Stars Mike Myers, Jessica Alba, Sir Ben Kingsley and Celebrity Big Brother contestant Verne Troyer were all nominated for their acting, while the movie was also named in the worst picture category.

Razzies founder John Wilson explained: "This is one of those auteur-of-the-awful situations. I think people are tired of [Mike Myers] in general. He hasn't really made a good movie in quite some time."

Hilton's The Hottie And The Nottie earned nominations for worst picture, worst actress and worst screen couple, while she also picked up a worst supporting actress nod for Repo! The Genetic Opera.

Last year's big winner Eddie Murphy picked up nods for worst actor and worst screen couple for his dual roles in Meet Dave, while other worst actor nominees included Al Pacino (Righteous Kill, 88 Minutes) and Mark Wahlberg (The Happening, Max Payne).

Annette Benning, Eva Mendes, Debra Messing, Jada Pinkett Smith and Meg Ryan shared a worst actress nod for The Women, alongside Alba, Hilton, Kate Hudson (Fool's Gold, My Best Friend's Girl) and Cameron Diaz (What Happens In Vegas).

The winners of the 29th annual Golden Raspberry Awards will be announced on February 21.
