According to Variety, the Mummy star will play a real estate developer who ends up at war with some furry creatures when he builds new houses on their Oregon forest.
Mr Woodcock writers Michael Carnes and Josh Gilbert will pen the script. Cruel Intentions' Roger Kumble is directing.
Shooting is scheduled to start in the summer.
