Stewart 'very excited' about Jett biopic

Kristen Stewart has claimed that she is "exceedingly excited" to be playing Joan Jett in forthcoming biopic The Runaways.

Speaking to MTV, the Twilight actress revealed that she has been spending time with the influential rocker in preparation for the role.

"I spent New Year’s with her. I spent, like hours, just talking to her," she said. "I'm like vibrating. I'm just so excited about that movie.

"I’m really, exceedingly, more excited than normal."

Jett fronted all-girl rock band The Runaways alongside Lita Ford. She is famous for hit songs including 'I Love Rock N' Roll' and 'Bad Reputation'.
