'Azkaban' breaks US record

The third Harry Potter movie has set a new opening record for the franchise in America.
Studio estimates released today (Sunday) indicate that the Prisoner of Azkaban pulled in $92.7m over the three days since it opened in the States. That beats the $90.3m opening for the first Potter film and the $88.4m achieved by the second.
On a wider scale, the figure represents the second-best Friday opening of all time behind SpiderMan at $114.8m.
