'Legally Blonde' goes to Broadway

Elle Woods will be treading the boards of Broadway before long, MGM announced on Thursday.
The studio has announced plans to turn Legally Blonde into a musical, with Tony Award-winner Jerry Mitchell directing.
The film was released back in 2001, and spawned a sequel that went to cinemas in 2003.
