Born in Budapest in 1913, Capa was renowned for his images of conflict zones, most notably World War II where he gained fame as one of the few photographers to witness the Allied invasion of Normandy in 1944.
However, he also garnered a celebrity status thanks to his glamorous lifestyle, which included an affair with Ingrid Bergman and a close friendship with writer John Steinbeck.
Push director Paul McGuigan, who started his career as a photographer, is expected to helm the project. Brosnan will produce through his company Irish DreamTime.
