Based on Michael Lewis's book The Blind Side: Evolution Of The Game, the story follows the journey of Michael Oher from his impoverished upbringing to become one of the NFL's most sought-after players.
Oher spent time in various foster homes and was homeless on several occasions before the age of 16. Bullock will play a conservative suburban housewife who takes Oher into her home.
John Lee Hancock (The Alamo) will direct the movie from his own script.
