Affleck ready to quit limelight

Hollywood heartthrob Ben Affleck says he is ready to step out of the limelight.

The actor told the Sunday Telegraph that he's "fed up" with having his private life constantly talked about in the media.

"I feel like a guy who is almost at the finish line," said Affleck. "I would like to act in supporting roles, where it isn't incumbent on me to promote the movie and talk about my personal life."

Instead Affleck - who co-write Good Will Hunting with best buddy Matt Damon - wants to move towards directing, script-writing and small-part acting roles.
