'Slumdog', Winslet win Oscars

The film won best picture, best director for Danny Boyle and best adapted screenplay for Simon Beaufoy, as well as awards for the score, song, cinematography, editing and sound mixing.
On accepting the directing award, a jumping Boyle said: "My kids are too old to remember this now, but when they were much younger, I swore to them that if this miracle ever happened that I would receive it in the spirit of Tigger from Winnie The Pooh and that's what that was."
Kate Winslet won her first Oscar after five unsuccessful nominations, receiving the best actress prize for her part in The Reader, while Penelope Cruz picked up the best supporting actress accolade for her role in Vicky Cristina Barcelona.
Sean Penn pipped Mickey Rourke to the best actor award for his role in Milk, which also won the prize for best original screenplay by Dustin Lance Black.
The late Heath Ledger won the best supporting actor prize for his portrayal of the Joker in The Dark Knight, with the film also winning the award for best sound editing.
The award for best animated film was given to WALL-E, while Man On Wire won best documentary feature.
The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button was recognised for the best art direction, makeup and visual effects.
